Who is the guide for?

The guide is designed for mom entrepreneurs who are looking to thrive in all areas of life: business, home life, raising kids and self care. They can be at any stage of business - from idea to scaling.

Some categories will have wide appeal to ALL moms. We’ll encourage you to share it with your network so anyone can get value from this benefits.

What reach will the Gift Guide have?

The guide will be promoted in two ways:

• Multiple times through the Mom Entrepreneurs Supporting Moms: Network, Learn, IMPACT! Facebook group, which is over 8000 members and growing.

• All contributors will be asked to share the guide with their network, so the audience is amplified. That’s the beauty of social selling!

Therefore, the reach of the guide will be the thousands of warm leads.

What can I list in the guide?

In the FREE section, list a digital product that can be accessed through your own landing page or store checkout with a free coupon code. You could offer your most popular freebie, or something premium you normally charge for free.

In the PAID section, products and services are welcome, both physical and digital in nature. You can focus on 1 product or service per listing purchased. The listing is not for your entire store or a collection of products. If you want to reference other items available, you can write 1 sentence about it in your description (ex. More styles and colours available).

What is the difference between the packages?

A Contributor allows you to list one free resource and one paid resource, plus other core benefits. We promote the resources in the Facebook group by category, not individually.

A Featured Member gets you everything in the Contributor listing, plus:

• we do an individual promo post for you in the Facebook group.

• you also can do 4x promo posts yourself in the Facebook group and this can be anything related to your business (not just what’s in the guide).

• we also invite you into our Engagement Pod, which will give more support on any of your posts.

A VIP Member gets you everything in the Contributor listing, plus:

• we do an individual promo post for you in the Facebook group

• you also can do 8x promo posts or lives yourself in the Facebook group and this can be anything related to your business (not just what’s in the guide).

• we also do a separate email promoting the VIP offers.

• we also invite you into our Engagement Pod, which will give more support on any of your posts.

Is this a monthly fee or one-time fee?

It’s a one-time fee.

Do customers buy directly through the guide?

No, the guide itself is not transactional. It’s a lead generator for you. With each free and paid listing is a link for more information which redirects to YOUR website, product page, Etsy page, etc.

I only have a paid product. Can I opt out of the free listing?

Yes, you do not need to submit both a free and paid listing.

How is the guide organized?

The guide will be listed in 5 main buckets: Starting a Business, Growing a Business, A Thriving Home Life, Raising Awesome Kids and Self-Care and Wellness.

We may tweak the categories depending on the resources received.

What is “swipe copy”? What is provided in the swipe copy?

“Swipe copy” means templates that you can use to make it easier to share the guide.

They are done-for-you emails, Facebook images, Instagram images and descriptions to go with social posts.

Just copy, tweak as necessary and post.

I don’t have much (or any) of an email list or social following to share the guide. What do I do?

For one, we all start somewhere, so do what you can.

We also encourage you to share with your personal networks, if you have followers there.

Do I have to do 2x email and 2x social post? Or can I switch this based on my following?

You can switch how you promote the guide if your audience is more engaged in other channels. Think of it is minimum 4x solid shares, however that will be most effective for you.

When will the guide be live?

The guide will be live on April 29 and officially end May 10. However, there are always latecomers so the page will stay active until May 15. Make sure any coupon codes are valid until then.

What if I have a shippable product in the paid section?

Shippable products are great! It’s best if your product can ship internationally, since the group is 80% in North America and 20% other countries. There is also a large contingent of group members who reside in the Toronto-Guelph-Hamilton area and for whom pick up may be possible.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a 3 day refund policy. If you’re not excited to move forward within 3 days of purchasing your package, we’ll give you your money back.
